  4. Thankyou so much for making this blog and sharing how you've cleared Tommy's psoriasis! I am so hopeful that I can do the same - it's just sticking to a good diet that I find so hard! But seeing this is really encouraging so thankyou again! xoxoxox

Also I think it's amazing and heart warming how you've done this together as a couple. Congratulations on your engagement too :)

  6. I was so happy to find this blog. I have been experimenting for two years with food and diet to figure out what is causing the psoriasis. Every doctor I have talked to think I'm crazy. My husband has it, too, and even he is not convinced. His is much worse and he chose to inject meds every week. I would love to know if certain foods seem to effect you. I cannot have night shade vegetables, vinegar, citrus, dairy and a lot of other things and it has improved considerably. Recently I took out carbs completely. I noticed you said no gluten, but just wondered where you were with what you were able to eat? Judith

  7. Ok,seriously this story is amazing! I've had psoriasis since I was 5(I'm now 22). I've been using endless amounts of prescribed topical creams. They say that it's not a skin disease but an immune disease, so why are they giving me creams?!? So I've been researching on my own and am very happy to I've fell upon your blog. I figure it might be hard to do this diet but I figure what do I have to lose? I hate psoriasis more then I love bread and cheese! So tonight I say "bye bye gluten and dairy!" Sara

  10. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..I'VE HAD P SYMPTOMS ALSO AND EXPERIENCED A VERY BAD OUTBREAK IN MY EARLY TEENS SIMILAR TO YOURS. I ALSO USED TO EAT THE TRASH FROM FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS THAT WOULD POISON MY BODY AND CAUSE THESE NASTY OUTBREAKS. NOT UNTIL THE AGE OF 22 WHEN I BEGAN TO RESEARCH MY CONDITION ON THE INTERNET. I FOUND SOME LITERATURE ABOUT A WOMAN THAT CURED HER P THROUGH DIET. AND DECIDED TO PURCHASE IT. IT'S CALLED (SPOT FREE IN 30 DAYS).I BEGAN TO FOLLOW HER DIET PLAN AND NOTICED RESULTS IN 2 MONTHS. I AM 33 YEARS OLD NOW AND CONTINUE TO STAY CLEAR OF P BY FOLLOWING HER PROGRAM. I CONTINUE TO EAT A STRICT DIET OF *FRESH*(NOT PROCESSED OR CANNED-CAUSE THEY CONTAIN PRESERVATIVES THAT MAY AGRIVATE YOUR CONDITION) FRUITS,VEGETABLES,CHICKEN,AND FISH.FOR JUICING I LIKE TO USE THE NAKED BRAND GREEN OR BLUEBERRY SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIES PURCHACED AT ANY SAFEWAY STORE.

  12. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have come across this blog!! I have been suffering with mild psoriosis since early this year and so far the only thing I find really helpful is using the sunbed, however I am not a fan off skin cancer and have been desperate to find another way of combatting this awful problem! I am 22 and like most I love to party, smoke and drink at the weekends, and my diet isn't exactly brilliant either! But with your kind advice and possitive attitude I am more determined than ever to finish my last two ciggarettes, stop by the supermarket and stock up on healthy foods and get back to the gym, followed by an early night!! I feel so much better after reading your story Tommy, the results look fantastic, and as I'm sure you already know, that Molly of yours is a diamond! Thank-you so much for sharing your experiences and I hope you continue to improve. Fingers crossed the same will work for me!

    Congratulations on your engagement also!

  14. Psoriasis is a persistent autoimmune skin disease which is not contagious. Psoriasis affects both the skin and the joints of the individual who is affected by the disease.

  15. Psoriasis is a lifelong condition, so it's really difficult to have it. What's sad is that it does not only attack you physically, but it also scars you emotionally as well. The emotional aspect of this condition is probably harder than its physical manifestations. Dealing with bullies, judgmental people and even regular people is really an emotionally straining task. I hope more and more people become aware that psoriasis isn't contagious and it isn't something to be scared with.
