Progress after six weeks of dieting

Okay so I figured out the new camera!!! Here are the pics, I know the shins look pretty scary still....much to my dismay Tommy picks them. He is probably going to be pissed I posted this without him. I'm bored and procrastinating doing work! I also added a pic of our babies just for fun :) As you can see the arms are clearing quickly, as is the spot on Tommy's chest. We have a long way to go still, though this is the first sign of improvement we have ever seen. All his P has ever done is get worse, never improved. So here we are with definite sings of improvement, so exciting!! Peace out until next time!

  1. I'm impressed. The redness is almost gone and now you're just a big flake. ;-) I hope that will go away soon too. Today started my efforts at eating healthier. I loaded up on salad fixin's, and green veggies and starting to take Barney's formula again. I'm anxious to see if I get any improvement.

  2. Awesome! Glad to hear you are focusing on diet. I think what has really helped is the elimination of dairy, meat and gluten. I think it helps your digestion just relax, so your body can work on healing. Keep us updated on your progress. We wish you all the best!

  3. wow. It was so red and inflammed. Looks like you're on a good course. Of course, a diet is always good, along with the exercise. It's a life change for the long haul! Anyway, I've also used TriDerma Psoriasis Control cream. I got the first tube at Walgreens, then found it cheaper online! He might give it a spin as well.

  4. it looks better and you can't rush the result on this. However I would still suggest that he takes bath to de-scale so he doesn't end up picking them and bleed. If he insist on shower only. Use t-gel shampoo or salicylic acid shampoo on the body as body wash and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes and rainse off. Works better if he does dry brush before showering to clear off some scales. Good luck and Mollly you are a saint....

  5. Tommy, it's been several days and I was wondering how you're doing. I've seen tremendous improvement after just one week of eating non-inflammatory foods and taking Barney's formula. I'm truly amazed that ANYTHING could help this quickly.

  6. Way to go Tommy,

I myself am curing my psoriasis through diet right now.
You must understand that Psoriasis is not a skin disease, not a auto immune disease, but a problem of the intestines.
The intestinal walls are thinned, probably by fungal/yeast infection.
This leads to poisons leaking into your body.
For example gluten; you won't test positive on gluten-intolerance, but still gluten poses a problem. Many other things produces poisons that get into your body, like meat and diary.
But also coffee and black tea.
Your body wants to get rid of these toxins, and does so through your skin (so suppressing psoriasis with medications is a very bad idea)
So you have to eliminate these poisons from your diet.
Then there still is the healing of the intestines.
Here comes eating raw vegetables into play.
Raw vegetables help healing the body.
It does so because raw food restores the acid/alkaline balance of your body. Making it possible for your body to heal itself.
Important is also to fight the fungal/yeast infection.
This is done through eliminating food for the fungus/yeast. This means almost no sugar and refined flour. Leave these out of your diet and you starve the fungus/yeast to death.
Understand that the fungus/yeast fights back by producing chemicals that make you want to eat more sugar. But after a week or so without sugar there should be no more craving for sweetness.

I hope that this info helps a bit, through giving you the reasons to stick to the diet.
I hope also that this info will be helpfully for others.

    Regards Rene
